We created a new visual identity and a new communication approach for a slam association based in Montpellier. Slam is all about playing with words to convey a message. The choice of the right vocabulary, the way it is spoken and the way it is delivered are all particularly important in reinforcing the meaning of the message. When spoken, the rhythm and tone of the words highlight the chosen emphasis. To create a unique visual, we decided to visually capitalize on the rhythm and tone of each word. To transpose these two elements into the visual, we devised a typographic system that transcribed the spontaneity of diction visually.
