Aime Corbeau is a globetrotter and tattoo artist who inks her clients on her journey around the world. She sought out the expertise of our studio to meet her unique challenge, which was to incorporate her travelling adventures into her tattoo account and strategy.
We proposed and produced a complete overhaul of her communications for this original identity. To kick-start its transition, we focused our strategy on several key points: a new name, a new visual identity, and a new brand territory, as well as a content strategy on Instagram and TikTok.
We based our branding strategy on a simple insight: In order to reach their clients, tattoo artists need to use social networks because it's where their works will be better displayed, and actually the most relevant and viral format is video.
The new name Aime Corbeau was an intuitive answer we came up with in the course of our research, both as an invitation to interact with the content (Aime = like in french) and also the perfect bird ( mysterious, always travelling, and also being as black as the ink used for tattoos) to describe her tatoo's style .
The convergence of the name and our initial insight gave rise to a concept that is unique to Aime Corbeau's communication: creating tattoo content with a view normally associated with travel content (the drone perspective) which accompanies and punctuates each of her trips and guests around the world.
